Vision


The vision of the Department of English is to provide access to higher education opportunities that enable students to highlight the English arena and to develop knowledge and skills necessary to achieve their professional goals, improve the productivity of their organizations, and provide leadership and service to their communities.

Mission


The Department of English is committed in providing an up-to-date education program with quality and excellence that help the students to face the global challenges. In course of their study, the students would also have a fair amount of knowledge in disciplines like history, philosophy, and psychology, which are complementary to English studies. In addition, this program is designed to produce graduates with good interpersonal and communicative skills to meet the existing and the emerging needs of our time. The Department also seeks to cultivate a strong sense of ethical values among the students who will become competent world-class professionals in their respective fields.
